M’s Wonderful Drawer is a project that using the colombian figure of culebrero (storyteller-witchdoctor) aims to combine the notions of magic, myth, and game from the creation of various artistic objects. Consequently, after the culebrero renamed the artistic objects, they will be endowed with new meanings and acquired magical powers. They will become talismans and enchanting objects which may act as remedies and cures to the quotidian problems offered by the current global market world. This project will be carried out as an activation of public space seeking for the appropriation of plazas, streets, and public parks, in which the ‘enchanted objects’ will be in exchange for the stories of the Jakarta residents. If you are interested in learning more about this project and the products that M’s Wonderful Drawer will be offering, please have a visit. Let the Neo tropical magic be with you.
